Phoenix Cards

[Hawaiian Pele Goddess] [Celtic Mirror] Susan Sheppard designed the 28 Phoenix cards to stimulate awareness of past life connections. Each card is devoted to a different historical place and time. The images by artist Toni Taylor are built around artifacts and landscapes reminiscent of each culture. Sheppard chose the symbols based on her extensive research. To the left is an Hawaiian Pele goddess figure symbolizing Polynesian cultures. To the right is the back of a Celtic mirror from the 1st century B.C. In the companion book The Phoenix Cards, Sheppard describes the symbol, place, time, cultural group, language group, appearance and traits of people associated with each card. She also suggests how the cards you are drawn to reflect your personality and life choices. A few spreads are included at the end of the book.
